Facial Masks 1. Honey Mask for Dry Skin 1. 1 tsp honey 2. 1 tsp aloe vera gel available at pharmacies 3. 1 vitamin E capsule Mix honey and aloe vera gel together. Cut the vitamin E capsule and squeeze the contents into the honey and aloe vera mixture. Mix well. Apply on the facemaking sure not to get too close to the eyes. Leave the mask on for 10 to 15 minutesthen wash it off with warm water. 2. Oatmeal Mask 1. Half cup cooked oatmeal 2. 1 egg yolk 3. Half cup mashed banana optional Mix all the ingredients togetherand stir till it becomes a thick paste. Apply on the face making sure not to get too close to the eyes. Leave the mask on for 10 to 15 minutesthen wash it off with warm water. 3. China Clay Mask 1. 1 tbs. China Kaolin Clay 2. Half tsp of jojoba oil olive oil OR water. Mix the ingredients together to form a thick paste. You may add a little more of the liquidto make it more moist. Apply onto the facemaking sure not to get too close to the eyes. Leave the mask on for 10 to 15 minutesthen wash it off with warm water. Toner Herbal Toner 1. Half cup water 2. Half cup witch hazel astringent available in pharmacies 3. 2 tea bags 4. 1 tsp aloe vera gel Boil water and witch hazel together. When the water is boiled then add the tea bag sand let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes. After the water and witch hazel mixture has cooled then remove the tea bag sand add the aloe vera gel. Pour the mixture into a clean bottle. Wet a cotton ball with the herbal tonerand wipe the face in upward and outward strokes like you would use a regular toner. Wash your face with cold water after 2 to 3 minutes. You can refrigerate the toneras it has no preservatives added. |
